Indian American Wedding at Battello // Reena + Matt

At a beautiful and romantic wedding held at the stunning Battello venue in Jersey City, we had the honor of capturing the love and happiness of an Indian American couple (Reena & Matt) and their families. The day was filled with beautiful moments, from the calm and happy energy of the couple, to the excitement of their large families, and the gorgeous ceremony held under candlelit flowers.

The bride wore a traditional Indian wedding dress that was adorned with intricate beading and embroidery, while the groom wore a sleek black suit. The ceremony was a perfect blend of Indian and American traditions, with the couple exchanging vows and rings under a beautiful flower-covered arch.

One of the most stunning moments of the day was the sunset and blue hour portraits that we were able to capture with the NYC skyline in the background with the moon shining in most of the photos. It was truly magical to witness and to be able to capture it on 35 film was the cherry on top.

As the evening went on, the guests danced the night away on the dance floor, many of them wearing traditional Indian attire that shined and sparkled under the lights. The rain held out all day, but finally came at night, so we got out our clear umbrellas and took some really cool photos in the rain with the night City lights illuminating behind Reena & Matt. The photos turned out beautifully and added an unexpected and romantic element to the evening.
